You move side to side along a track, picking up blocks that match the color you are carrying while dodging every other shade. It is free to play in the browser right now, no download needed, and it works on school or work networks wherever browser games are allowed. The game is short by design. Each run takes under a minute, but the tension in that minute is real: one wrong tile wipes your progress, and the finish line rewards are tied directly to how many blocks you kept.
What is Stack Colors?
Stack Colors is a mobile-style runner ported to HTML5 in February 2023. The core loop is simple: you run forward automatically while steering left and right to collect colored blocks. The color you hold determines which tiles score and which punish. Lose enough blocks and your fever meter drops. Keep a clean streak and fever mode kicks in, briefly turning the whole track one color so you can grab everything in sight. At the end of the track, you tap (or click) rapidly to launch your stack as far as possible for a multiplier reward.

The controls are minimal. On desktop you use the mouse; on mobile the game responds to touch drag. There is no jump or brake.

Fever mode and how scoring works
Fever mode is the only real upgrade the game offers mid-run, and it changes the run completely. When your fever bar fills from collecting the correct color without a mistake, every tile on the track turns to a single matching color, obstacles disappear, and you can sweep the entire width of the path for a few seconds. At the finish line, the launch distance and the number of blocks you carry both feed into the reward multiplier, so a fever finish is far more valuable than a normal one.

Tips for a longer stack
- Focus on the color you are holding, not the color you want. Wrong tiles will cost you more than a small detour.
- Stay near the center of the track when your stack is low. It gives you more reaction time to dodge.
- During fever mode, sweep the full width. You will never have a better window to max your count.
- At the finish line, click or tap as fast as you can the moment the launch prompt appears. The force you add on top of block count pushes the total distance noticeably.
- Do not chase a different color trying to switch. The game assigns your color at the start; you cannot change it mid-run.
Is Stack Colors on mobile?
Yes. Voodoo originally launched Stack Colors on iOS in March 2020 and Android in June 2020. The HTML5 browser version came later in February 2023 and plays the same as the app. If you are on a phone or tablet, the browser version works on touch with no app install required.
